Arizona Centennial Ride

Thousands of motorcycle riders participated in the Arizona Centennial ride. The historical motorcycle tour began at Mesa Riverview and ended at the Arizona State Capitol. The ride was led by Phoenix native and "Ride" Honorary Chairman Dierks Bentley along with the official mascot of the Arizona Centennial, the Copper Chopper. The Copper Chopper was driven by its renowned designer and Arizona resident Paul Yaffee. The Arizona Centennial ride marked the end of the Copper Chopper's 18-month tour to every corner of the state to raise awareness of the Arizona Centennial.
